Compassion. Freedom. Research. Opportunity.
The conversation about cannabis and holistic medicine has been dominated for far too long by politics instead of patients.
As your Governor, my goal is not to encourage drug use.
My goal is to encourage truth, scientific research, personal freedom, responsible regulation, and compassion for people who are suffering.
I believe government should never stand in the way of legitimate medical research or prevent patients and their healthcare providers from exploring safe and effective treatment options.
The Farmer Servant Cannabis & Holistic Medicine Plan is built around one simple belief:
Follow the science. Respect the patient. Protect freedom.
Step 1: Put Patients Before Politics
For too long, many Oklahomans have felt healthcare policy is shaped by politics instead of patients.
The Farmer Servant movement believes public policy should be guided by scientific evidence, transparency, and the best interests of the people—not by political pressure or powerful special interests.
As Governor, I will support transparency in campaign finance and encourage healthcare policies that put patients first.
I also believe that God has provided mankind with an incredible world full of plants, natural resources, and opportunities for discovery.
Many of today’s most important medicines originated from plants and natural compounds.
Rather than dismissing holistic medicine because it challenges traditional thinking, Oklahoma should be willing to study it honestly and scientifically.
Prescription medications have saved countless lives and remain an important part of modern healthcare.
At the same time, patients should have access to safe, evidence-based holistic treatments whenever research demonstrates they can improve health and quality of life.
Medicine should never become a battle between pharmaceutical treatments and natural treatments.
The goal should always be helping patients get well.
Step 2: Expand Scientific Research
Oklahoma should become one of America’s leaders in cannabis and holistic medicine research.
The state should partner with:
- Universities
- Medical schools
- Physicians
- Pharmacists
- Agricultural researchers
- Mental health professionals
- Veterans organizations
Areas of research should include:
- Medical cannabis
- Industrial hemp
- CBD
- PTSD
- Chronic pain
- Epilepsy
- Parkinson’s Disease
- Alzheimer’s Disease
- Cancer symptom management
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Addiction recovery
- Other promising holistic therapies
Public policy should follow science—not politics.
Step 3: Create the Oklahoma Center for Cannabis & Holistic Medicine Research
Oklahoma should establish a statewide research center dedicated to studying cannabis and other holistic treatment options.
The center would coordinate research among:
- Universities
- Physicians
- Pharmacists
- Agricultural experts
- Mental health professionals
- Patient advocates
- Veterans organizations
The goal is simple:
Develop Oklahoma-based research that improves lives.
Step 4: Support Oklahoma Farmers
Cannabis and industrial hemp represent major agricultural opportunities.
Oklahoma farmers should have every opportunity to benefit from these growing industries while operating responsibly and within the law.
The Farmer Servant Plan supports:
- Hemp production
- Agricultural research
- Processing facilities
- Oklahoma manufacturing
- Farmer-owned cooperatives
- Workforce training
- Rural economic development
The economic benefits should stay in Oklahoma.
Step 5: Protect Small Businesses
The cannabis industry should not become another industry controlled by a handful of large corporations.
The Farmer Servant Plan encourages:
- Small businesses
- Family farms
- Oklahoma entrepreneurs
- Agricultural cooperatives
- Local processing facilities
Competition creates innovation.
Local ownership keeps wealth in Oklahoma.
Step 6: Protect Patients
Patients deserve products that are:
- Safe
- Tested
- Properly labeled
- Accurately dosed
- Free from contaminants
The Farmer Servant Plan supports strong quality standards and independent laboratory testing.
Patient safety always comes first.
Step 7: Expand Veterans’ Treatment Options
Many Oklahoma veterans struggle with:
- PTSD
- Chronic pain
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Sleep disorders
Veterans deserve access to every treatment option supported by sound scientific research.
We owe them nothing less.
Step 8: Protect Medical Freedom
Healthcare decisions should primarily remain between patients and qualified healthcare professionals.
Government should establish reasonable safety standards—but should not unnecessarily interfere with medical conversations between doctors and patients.
Step 9: Replace Fear with Education
Good public policy begins with good information.
Oklahoma should educate the public about:
- Benefits
- Risks
- Safe use
- Youth prevention
- Impaired driving
- Addiction risks
- Responsible storage
Education protects communities better than misinformation.
Step 10: Encourage Innovation
Oklahoma has the opportunity to become a national leader in:
- Medical research
- Agricultural technology
- Pharmaceutical innovation
- Industrial hemp
- Sustainable farming
- Rural manufacturing
- Healthcare innovation
Innovation creates jobs while improving lives.
Step 11: Protect Public Safety
Freedom always comes with responsibility.
The Farmer Servant Plan supports:
- Strong penalties for impaired driving
- Preventing underage access
- Enforcement against illegal trafficking
- Responsible licensing
- Product safety regulations
Protecting freedom also means protecting our communities.
Step 12: Continue Following the Science
Science evolves.
Medicine evolves.
Government should be willing to evolve with it.
As new research becomes available, Oklahoma should continue evaluating cannabis and other holistic treatments based on credible scientific evidence—not political ideology.
Our responsibility is not to defend yesterday’s opinions.
Our responsibility is to improve tomorrow’s healthcare.
The Goal
The Farmer Servant Cannabis & Holistic Medicine Plan is about far more than cannabis.
It is about creating a healthcare system that puts patients before politics, encourages honest scientific research, respects personal freedom, supports Oklahoma farmers, strengthens small businesses, and allows innovation to flourish.
It recognizes that modern medicine and holistic medicine do not have to compete with one another.
They can work together.
When we put patients first, encourage research, protect public safety, and remain open to new discoveries, Oklahoma can become a national leader in compassionate, evidence-informed healthcare.
Because every Oklahoman deserves access to the safest, most effective treatments available—wherever sound science leads us.
